Course Title

Aerospace Composites Course.





Course Objectives




Modern materials are now being used for as much as 60% of new Aircraft structures. This comprehensive course is specifically designed to give an enhanced understanding of modern advanced composite materials and their applications in modern aero structures.

Reference will be made to current and future designs and will study manufacturing techniques, processes and also the very important benefits, issues and the different working practices required.

The candidate will leave the course with greatly enhanced knowledge and understanding of the properties and applications of the modern materials utilised in the structures, also the different working and assembly philosophies. This will build on and increase any previous knowledge gained by the student and therefore enhance their effectiveness in their current and future roles.

Course Aim



This course is specifically designed to give an enhanced understanding of modern composite materials and their application in new Aerospace structures. Reference will be made to current and future projects.

A multi-choice 25 question paper to ensure that the important points have been covered and understood
